With over six years of experience in dental hygiene, Monica is passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health. Monica especially enjoys educating patients on preventive care and empowering them with the knowledge they need to feel confident in their smiles.
Monica earned her degree from Ferris State University, where she discovered her love for dental hygiene and met her husband. Originally from Saginaw, Michigan, Monica began her career in Grand Rapids, where she practiced for four years before relocating to be closer to family. I have now been in the area for two years and truly enjoy being part of this community.
Outside of the office, Monica values spending quality time with her family. Monica enjoys reading — particularly psychological thrillers and memoirs — as well as doing puzzles and crafting. At home, life is always active and fun with my young son, where we can often be found playing with monster trucks and dinosaurs, along with our two dogs who keep things lively.
Jan has been a manager in the dental field for five years and has had the pleasure of working alongside Dr. Sam at Farmington Dental Studio for the past three years. Since a young age, Jan has always loved going to the dentist, making a career in dentistry a natural fit. Jan truly enjoys building relationships with patients and helping create a comfortable, positive experience for everyone who visits the office.
Outside of the office, Jan is a proud mom of two adult sons and one daughter-in-love and enjoys spending time with them as well as other family members and friends. In Jan’s free time, she loves reading, creating fun projects on her Cricut, curling up with a good book, traveling and enjoying the beauty of nature. She especially enjoys summers in Waterford, MI, where she takes advantage of the area’s beautiful lakes.
LaSonja has been a certified dental assistant for over 30 years, working alongside Dr. Sam at Farmington Dental Studio for 2 years. LaSonja is passionate about what she does in her field of work and takes what she does very seriously. A patient's happiness is what LaSonja takes pride in. To see a patient smile is what makes LaSonja smile.
LaSonja is a mother of two, with three wonderful grandsons who she enjoys spending time with every chance she gets.
LaSonja is also active in her church and absolutely loves what she does in ministry. In LaSonja’s downtime she enjoys going to the park to enjoy a peaceful time by the water.
